ORDINATION,
CHURCH/HOUSE PLANTS:
Re: Inquiries for ordination and/or planting churches. For your
convenience, here is a summary of our requirements.
Part of our equipping/mentoring ministry includes ordination and
planting churches whether they be in a building or a home, hence, house
plants.
If you are seeking ordination; or seeking to transfer your ordination
credentials to NLWM, each request is handled individually before the
Lord. Ordination with us is relational. Not everyone is
'called' to serve with us. We believe Jesus ordains, we recognize His
ordination, and He 'places' you. Therefore each application is
handled seeking the Lord's will and His timing.
If you are a pastor or a missionary from another nation seeking our
credentials or support in any way, we must be in relationship with you.
Please apply according to the same instructions given below.
We require a walk with God that is uncompromised, firmly rooted in holy
love and the Word of God. You must be walking in the fruits of the Holy
Spirit, and ministering in your everyday life, not necessarily with a
title of some sort, but because Jesus in you is reaching out in His love
and grace all the day long.
You must be one who keeps your word; not one who makes promises which
you cannot or may not fulfill. Your words must be well chosen. You
must be slow to anger; quick to forgive. You must not be easily
offended. Rejection is part of ministry. If you walk in holiness and
the fear of the Lord, God's word promises that you will suffer
persecution. It is fellowship with the sufferings of Christ. If you need
help with this, we will pray with you and suggest a season of growth and
maturity.
If you believe Jesus is leading you to transfer your license/credentials
to NLWM, it must be the Lord leading you into a new season. If it is
because of offence or moral failure, that must be dealt with
through repentance which includes 'turning' from sin, making resitution
if needed, as well as reconciliation. We are willing to help with that process. Then if
it is meant to be, we will consider your
application.
Internship is not a requirement for those transferring their
license/credentials.
Re: Church Plants ... We do not provide 501(c)3 status. As a licensed
and ordained minister, under IRS law, you already have access to
ministerial tax deductions related to your profession as a minister.
Should you desire a 501(c)3, you must make application separately with
the IRS, or choose a religious organization that is qualified, and
specializes in providing such services.
Our vision at NLWM is focused on relational covering, not
organizational. Therefore, it is our desire to keep administrative work
as simple as possible so that we can all concentrate more fully on
representing God's love to those who are near and those who are a far
off. Therefore, we are especially excited about planting more "House
Churches." We believe much of what God is doing in such a time as this
is happening in the more relaxed environment of local homes.
If you believe Jesus is calling you to be a NLWM candidate for
ordination with us, your application process begins here:
Please send your inquiry along with a letter stating your faith in Jesus
Christ, your experiential qualifications, your vision, two personal
recommendations, and two ministry recommendations.
The application fee is $40. Should we ordain you, the Ordination fee is
$222 a year. As long as your walk with Jesus is above reproach, and you
continue in relationship with NLWM, your
credentials will be renewable every two years.
(If you would like to give an offering for those who are unable to give
this modest fee, please consider an extra gift toward NLWM. Thank you.)
Please
use the 'Donate' button for your fees/gifts; and send your application letter,
including a current picture, and the requested information either
by Fax or Mail to NLWM:
FAX: 209 795-4253 - or -

Any questions may be
sent to:
NewLifeWorshipMinistries@comcast.net
We will go over your information and get back to you, Lord willing,
within ten days. If we are led to accept you as a candidate and cover
you relationally, one of two things will happen next. We may
receive direction to ordain you at the earliest convenience. Or we may
receive direction to begin the process of internship and eventual
ordination.
If we receive direction to turn down your application, clearly God has
not chosen us to ordain you. We will then pray with you, bless you,
and thank Him for our time together. We will trust God with
you that He will lead you to those He has already chosen for you.
His plans for you are for good and not for evil to give you a future and
a hope. He is able to complete the work that He began in you according
to His will and His good pleasure.
We look forward to meeting with you and hearing your vision. God
Bless You.
