Glory in the Cross ... !

Jesus said, "Freely  you have received, freely give."    We rejoice in every life He touches with His saving grace, His victorious right hand and strong right arm! 

James 4: 14 ... "You do not know [the least thing] about what may happen tomorrow. What is the nature of your life? You are [really] but a wisp of vapor (a puff of smoke, a mist) that is visible for a little while and then disappears [into thin air].      15 You ought instead to say, "If the Lord is willing," we shall live and we shall do this or that [thing]."  We find that Jesus is very good at undoing our schedules and our plans.  "We can make our plans, but the Lord directs our steps." 

Therefore, due to the health issues of Betty's parents, we were led to postpone all meetings and speaking engagements until the Lord gave further direction.  When Betty's mother was a new mother, it was her greatest desire that her children know how to pray.  So at the age of 4, she taught Betty the "Our Father."  Little did she know how much that would mean to her family.  Betty's mother, Eleanor Marie Sabella (who suffered greatly for 7 very long years) was "taken home" while Betty was singing the "Our Father" over her.    What a testimony to all mothers who pray for their children!  Oh how we rejoice in His great faithfulness!
